Message From Principal
As Nelson Mandela says, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Education is the key to eliminating gender inequality, to reducing poverty, to creating a sustainable planet, to preventing needless deaths and illness, and to fostering peace.
Education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us build opinions and have points of view on things in life. People debate over the subject of whether education is the only thing that gives knowledge.
St. Teresa Primary Teachers College of Education has been offering an effective training program of teacher education since 1927, in spite of its limitation and difficulties, the college has produced thousands of well-trained teachers. The college has been able to train and gear up the budding teachers to face the challenges of the emerging society and thwart such challenges by dint of the sincere services rendered by all concerned. I am privileged to be a part of this great institution and feel immensely happy to offer myself to the full to make the effective teachers for the better world. Because the future of each individual belong to the teachers.
I hope that the trainees in my hand will make the best use of the available resources here and attain the necessary professional competence to guide their students.
I, on behalf of the college, express my heartiest thanks and gratitude to all the stakeholders of the college – both past and present, for their invaluable services that enabled the college to occupy a unique position in the scenario of Teacher – Education at Bettiah, West Champaran
Looking forward to receive good wishes, blessing and active co-operation and support from everyone around us to turn the college into a centre of learning per excellence.
